Great Lakes was started by Kenneth Byler in 2014. At 18 years old, while working for another commercial roofing company, he saw the opportunity to make building owners happy again by providing fast reliable roof solutions. With this in mind, he started building the company from nothing, one happy customer at a time. Now, Great Lakes has an entire team of people with this mindset, making building owners smile with service that nobody else can match.
In 2022, Great Lakes added a second location in Iowa to better serve our Midwest customers. Our goal is not to grow fast but to grow steadily so we can continue to serve our existing customers with the same high level of customer care, even during expansion.
